At Willard Taekwondo Academy our goal is bringing quality martial arts and leadership training to the city of Willard and the
surrounding area. With more than 15 years of martial arts experience and 3 dedicated instructors it is our goal to train students
to be able to defend themselves and others; and to help students develop life skills such as confidence, integrity, perseverance
and discipline; while maintaining a safe, fun, and family oriented environment.
Taekwondo has become one of the most popular martial arts in America not just as a source of physical activity or a way to learn self-defense, but as a lifestyle that encourages individuals to constantly seek improvement, and to become examples in their community. Taekwondo encourages students to lead by example and demonstrate the Tenets of Taekwondo:
Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, Indomitable Spirit, and Victory.
Courtesy: To always be kind and considerate of others.
Integrity: To always do the right thing, even in the hardest of situations.
Perseverance: To never give up, no matter how difficult the task.
Self-Control: To be completely in control of one's actions and thoughts.
Indomitable Spirit: To always be positive, even when faced with failure.
Victory: To achieve a set goal, and to continue setting more goals to reach.
